Meeting Minutes
Present for the August meeting were Peggy, Ann C., Deb, Andrea, Jude, Julie W., Leslie, Julie G., and Ann C.
Show and Tell
Ann R. told us about her recent presentation for the Doll Circle of Indianapolis about the history of NIADA.
Deb brought some vintage/antique dolls that she purchased at a recent show in Virginia. They were made from patterns from the 1980's.

Andrea shared the fun things she did on her recent trip on a river cruise to France which ended in Paris where she went to a museum of Jacquard looms and to a puppetry museum in Lyon. We are so happy you got to experience this, Andrea, and thank you for telling us about it.
Business
Andrea reminded us that the club would like to sell dolls made from our pattern books at the November Show and Sale and would like everyone to contribute one doll made from one of those patterns.
Round Robin dolls were exchanged with their new shoes. The next assignment is to embellish the dolls.
Plans are in the works for the annual November show and sale. Signups have started for sales tables. We would like for each member to make a doll from our Pin Doll or Zoo book to sell at the club table. There will be a table for the current Round Robin dolls and past round robin dolls that have been made.
An Artists Gathering will also be having a show and sale that day.
Program
Unfortunately, we were not able to have a program for this meeting as our presenter was unable to come, but we plan to have the program another time.
Next Meeting
Our next meeting is Saturday, September 19, 2026. We will be going on a field trip to The Golden Turtle Trading Center in Oldenburg, Indiana where we will be "Stitchin' with Kathryn"! She will show us how to make a spool tassel.
