Member Birthdays
Happy Quarantine Birthday to Virginia and Cindy. Hope you can all celebrate when quarantine is over!
March Meeting Minutes
Unfortunately there was no meeting in April, but there is a bit of Show and Tell via emails and texts.
Show and Tell
Sue has made two dolls recently. Belle is from a Barbara Schoenoff pattern and the Elegant Rag
Doll is from a pattern by Ann Wood.
Jude has been working in her flower beds and shared a picture of her beautiful phlox. How colorful and cheerful. Something that we can appreciate during this crazy time.
Business
As you may know the library branches are closed and meetings at the branches have been cancelled through June. They may open for limited service before then but no meetings or events. Our Poe Challenge was due in June, but since it sounds like we will not be able to have a meeting then the challenge will be postponed to a later date.
It has been suggested we could do a Zoom meeting or some other video platform if we have enough people who know how and want to do that.
Next Meeting
Julie G. reported they are doing well. Carry out from Jockamo's has helped sustain them!
Kathryn made this sweet bunnie. She said it was fun to make using tube knit fabric for the body. She put wire in the ears so they would stand up. The nose and mouth are embroidered and the eyes are glass. And check out those cute shoes! She's wonderful!

Virginia, true to form, pumped out three dolls to share with us this month: a Faerie Mother and baby from a pattern by Jennifer Carson, a spring bunny from Raggedy Pants Designs, and Lucky Lucy (with a bad haircut!) from a free pattern by Jill Maas. These are all terrific, Virginia! Very inspiring for the rest of us!
