Business
Katie has worked hard setting us up on Facebook!  Look for us as :  Indy Cloth Dollmakers.
We encourage our members to help us post pictures of your creations.  They can be any of your dolls you have created yourself.
Members who were present voted on a charity to donate to for this year.  Hope Center Indy was chosen.  Their  mission is to transform the lives of women exiting sex trafficking by providing a Christ-centered approach to healing, self-sufficiency, and reintegration into the community.  We will have a table set up at our Annual  Holiday Art Fair and  Art Doll Show in November where we will sell items made by our members with all proceeds going to Hope Center Indy.
Program
Andrea led our program on making cloth doll hands. She demonstrated turning those tiny fingers using tube turners.  Kathryn taught us how to turn them with needle and thread and Julie G. taught us how to turn them with a coffee stirrer, needle and thread.  They made it look so easy!   Andrea gave us an excellent "hand out" on needle sculpting doll hands.
