April 15, 2023 Meeting Minutes
Present for this meeting were Ann R., Ann C., Julie G., Ron, Mary, Jen, Suzanne, Katie, Andrea, Jude, and Julie W.
Show and Tell
Ann R. created a spirit doll in preparation for our upcoming meeting with In-Fiber.

Suzanne shared that she has all the supplies to make a doll from a pattern she purchased on Etsy. We can't wait to see it, Suzanne!
Business
We are looking for close up pictures of member's doll's faces for use on the new business cards. We would especially like pictures of your newer dolls! Please send them to Ann C.
Round Robin dolls will be exchanged at the May meeting. They will have their new clothes and be exchanged for their next journey.

Plans for this year's postcards were discussed. Photos of three winners' dolls will be on these postcards; Denise, Kathryn, and Andrea's.
Plans for the May meeting with In-Fiber were also discussed. Katie has emailed the pattern, supply list, and homework to be done for the class. Katie is also bringing some molded polymer faces that can be used, or the face can be created on the cloth.

Jude brought a doll with unmanageable hair that she needed help with. We can't wait to see the after!
Katie showed us samples of hair she has wefted.
She also showed us how to make "hair curlers" with pipe cleaners and straws, the perfect size for doll hair.
She gave a wonderful presentation with lots of ideas and instruction on how to create a beautiful head of hair for our dolls. Thank you, Katie!
