Ann C. didn't make a doll but did make a beautiful lace shawl.  It is absolutely beautiful!

Nita also has an entry for the Tarot Challenge named The High Priestess.  The doll sits in a chair that Nita made in a class Jean Bernard taught.  Well done!  She also shared a crown she had made for AFICC.

Mary shared a crown she made several years ago.  Very appropriate for our Tiara workshop!  She also showed us a book she made with the Japanese book binding method.

Business Meeting
It was decided we would make a donation to AFICC for scholarships this year.  It is such a wonderful event, we want to contribute so those who might not be able to afford to go will be given the opportunity.  There is a great deal that can be learned from our fellow dollmakers.  Thank you Cyndy Sieving for putting on this fantastic event! Many of our members were able to attend this year.  Here are some pictures showing some of the fun they had.

After our meeting, Virginia showed us a great way to make tiaras and several members got started on the tiaras they wanted to wear at AFICC.  You can see many of their creations in the above pictures.

The May meeting will be a field trip to the Indiana State Museum.  We will meet at the Indiana State Museum, gathering at the entrance at 9:45.  The museum officially opens at 10 am, but the lobby is open so we don't have to stand around in the parking garage.  Mary Jane will take us behind the scenes.  So, no official kind of meeting.  We will do a pin doll exchange and just share pictures of dolls at lunch.
