Show and Tell
Julie G. started off show and tell with her "Botanicals" she had made in a recent class with Ann Wood in Paducah, KY.  Ann is also the pattern maker of the "Dastardly Owl" that several of our members have made.
Julie G.'s Botanticals
Nita had been busy creating things for our charity table at the Show and Sale in November.  Among them a Raggedy Ann, a beautiful peck piece pouch, mermaid and Santa.
Nita's Charity items
Virginia had finished her "Margot" doll from Sue's recent class and made another "Cutie" from Sue's pattern.
Virginia's Margot & Cutie
Denise loved the Cuties as well and made two of them.  She also has been testing ways of dying natural yarn with such things as onion skins, Rosemary, and Elderberry.

Business
The slate of officers for 2020 is the same as it was in 2019.  Voting will be done at the December meeting.  It's not too late if someone wants to throw their hat into the ring!  Just let a board member know before the start of the December meeting.
The current officers are:
President - Andrea
Vice-President Committee - Julie G., Sue, Virginia, and Denise
Secretary/Blog - Julie W.
Treasurer - Jude
Publicity - Katie
Show & Sale - Maggie

Classes for 2020 were discussed.  Katie will work on a contract for the instructors for the club to use.
In the spring Kathryn Walmsley will be teaching her Triplet dolls.  The dates will be March 28-29, 2020.  More information will be given at the December meeting.

We went over details of the Show and Sale which by the writing of this newsletter has come and gone.  Be sure and read the previous blog that is all about the Show and Sale with pictures of the Challenge Doll entries.

Next Meeting
Our next club meeting is Saturday, December 21.  This will be our annual Christmas Party!  We will have a pitch-in luncheon.  Andrea is bringing drinks, and Sue and Virginia are bringing plates, napkins, forks and spoons.  Other members may bring whatever food item you would like.  We will have an Angel themed gift exchange for those who want to participate (not mandatory).  Bring your item wrapped with your name on or in it to identify who it is from.  We will be electing officers for 2020 and choosing a theme for the Challenge doll for October, 2020.  Bring your ideas for the kind of doll you would like to do for a challenge.
