Member Birthdays
June birthday wishes go out to Ron, Martha, and Dimple!  Have a great day!

May Meeting
There was no official May meeting as this day was our field trip to Cincinnati.  Members who attended were Julie G., Nita, Ann C., Sue, Julie W., Andrea, and Katie and her guest, sister Molly.  Sue and Virginia planned a wonderful day for us starting at the Padrino Italian Restaurant in Milford, Ohio.  Our food was excellent and a good choice for our group.  After eating we roamed the street around the restaurant.  There were some wonderful quaint shops that we enjoyed exploring and then took off for the first destination Fiber Optic Yarn.  This shop has more beautiful yarns than anyone can imagine.  Then we went to Loveland Quilt Studio.  None of us could resist their wonderful assortment of fabrics and left with our treasured fabrics. Perhaps we will see some of these fabrics in a future doll!  Some went on to stop at Sew-Ezy Sewing Studio which also had many great fabrics.  Beaded Bliss was on our list of stops, but by the time we got there they had closed for the day which means  we have reason to return to the Cincinnati area!  So much to see and do and not enough time! Thank you Sue and Virginia for putting a fabulous day together for us!

Next Meeting
Our next meeting is June 15 at 10:00 back at the Irvington Library.  We will continue on course with making hands for our Patti Culea dolls and see who may have had time to make a Cage Doll.  Bring some sewn hands, and we'll talk about them before we turn them.  Andrea has emailed a hand pattern to the membership that she feels works well and can be used to practice making hands.  If you have any tips, tricks, or tools that you like to use when making hands please share them with us at the meeting.
