Our March meeting was devoted to charity dolls. Member Leslie W. created an original pattern for a small washable fleece dolly, and we try to make up lots of them to give to children in need. This small group will join a bunch of others and go to the Children's Bureau of Indianapolis.
The fleece is fun to play with, and the pattern lends itself to adaptations. Ann R. changed her dolls to bears, and Jude H. made her dolls into 'critters' using her embroidery machine. Katie J. made up matching green siblings, and Martha J. made some aliens :-)
